LAURIUM — The paint on the steeple of the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Laurium is cracked and peeling. But that will start changing this morning, when a local Boy Scout will lead a repainting effort as part of his Eagle Scout project.

The Oakbrook Terrace Dominick’s pharmacy has joined the Village of Lombard’s Senior Fair and will be offering free flu shots to seniors. Along with the free flu shots, pneumonia shots and Zostavax (shingles shot) will also be offered.
